David Jones grew up and worked in the potteries in Staffordshire, undergoing a comprehensive 5-year training program at Josiah Wedgwood from 1985 as a model maker/sculptor and then working for many world-renowned ceramic companies mainly in design and development, making ideas become working reality. After moving to Devon in 1997, he continued his career in ceramic design, model making and as a creative developer, always looking to push ceramics to their boundaries and creating a wow factor within the industrial sector. having set aside time to start producing and developing his own work with also becoming regular exhibitor around Devon, he is using techniques including hand building, throwing and glazing, looking to Manipulate clay and providing finished ceramic pieces that create talking points. “Let your hands be full of clay and your heart be full of imagination”
